Symbol explaination: The early Christians during the Roman persecutions needed a secret symbol to identify themselves. They took the first letters of their previous confession of faith, "Jesus Christ God's Son, Savior", and these letters spelled fish, in Greek. To this day, these Greek letters closest English translation is Ecthus and the fish Identify Christians.
